UPCOMING EVENTS
Whether you’re brand‑new to the Graduate or a long‑time fleet regular, this is where the class comes alive. Our events are friendly, competitive, and refreshingly down‑to‑earth — the kind of racing where you’ll trade tacks all afternoon and still share a drink afterwards.
From relaxed club opens to the big annual championships, every event is designed to be welcoming for helms and crews of all ages and experience levels. The racing is close, the atmosphere is supportive, and the fleet is full of people who are always happy to help you get the best out of your boat.
Explore what’s coming up, find a venue near you, and come join the fun. The Graduate sails best when it’s sailed together.

Chichester YC
Three days of proper championship racing on one of the South Coast’s best pieces of water. The locals are chomping at the bit to get going so expect big‑fleet starts, tactical beats, and classic Chichester Harbour conditions - all wrapped up in the usual Grad‑fleet mix of friendly faces, good humour, and a great social atmosphere.
A brilliant season highlight and a chance to set the tone for the year ahead.
Southern Championships
10th May 2026
Chipstead SC
A one‑day championship packed with tight, tactical racing on Chipstead’s home waters. The shifts and puffs keep everyone honest, rewarding sharp boat‑handling and quick thinking, and the strong local fleet always puts on a great event. A brilliant chance for southern teams to test their skills in proper Chipstead conditions.
Northern Championships

Bassenthwaite SC
Championship racing in one of the most beautiful settings in the country. Bassenthwaite offers big‑lake sailing, steady breeze, and a famously friendly club atmosphere - and with the event falling on the opening weekend of Bass Week, there’s an epic social scene too.
A brilliant mix of competitive racing, family‑friendly fun, and the kind of evenings that make the trip totally worth it.
Inland Championships
3rd October 2026
Swarkestone SC
A classic inland championship with close racing and quick turnarounds. Swarkestone’s open water - complete with its friendly home fleet of SuperGrads - serves up a proper snakes‑and‑ladders challenge, with shallows, bends, and the occasional crafty wind hole to navigate. Smart tactics and clean boat‑handling are rewarded here, making it a brilliant late‑season test for every team.
End of Seasons
7th - 8th November
Northampton SC
The final showdown of the year. Two days of crisp autumn racing at one of the UK’s best inland venues, shared with the Enterprise and National 12 fleets for a proper multi‑class buzz. With Bonfire Night falling the same weekend, Northampton SC puts on fireworks and a great atmosphere ashore - the perfect mix of competitive racing, friendly faces, and a cracking end‑of‑season celebration.
